RECIPE: Salad Smoothie

 

Remember how I told you getting in green every day is one of THE BEST things you can do for your health!?

Well, this smoothie is super task AND is the perfect morning fix for those of us a little tire of salads. It is clean and crisp, and actually doesn’t taste at all like a salad.

The carrot juice adds just enough sweet and will curb sweet cravings all day long! the celery and cucumber are alkalinizing, which raises your blood’s pH and wards of disease! As does the spinach, which also packs in Protein, Iron and Magnesium.

Give this nutrient rich powerhouse smoothie a go, and let the healing begin!

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup organic carrot juice

1 handful organic spinach

2 thick slices of cucumber

1 long celery stick

1 handful of ice

combine and mix for about 60 seconds in a blender. serve immediately.

1 serving

    Nice! I often throw whole carrots into my smoothies together with apple and ginger. Carrot juice is a great idea too!
