RANT: Rejuvenate, Renew, Rebirth

Spring is a time for renewal!  As we bask in the sun, surrounded by the flowering buds, while the winds tickles our cheeks OR as we try desperately to shed the winter blubber before summer sweating it out at the gym, take a moment to be good to your body.  Shake off the cold chill and stagnancy of winter. photo[2]

Now is a great time to rejuvenate your body, health and mind.  A great way to detox is to add lots of alkaline foods to your diet. In general, leafy greens and green veggies are great for cleansing and detoxing your system.  Disease is thought to be caused by acidic processes in the body, so alkaline foods are necessary to neutralize that acid and stop free radicals from advancing the aging process and causing illness.  See the chart below to find your favorite alkaline food or to select new foods you are willing to try, in the name of health!
