Ok, maybe the regular use of heroin or crack result in long term weight loss. But have you ever seen a crack addict’s dentition? Not pretty. Actually the word “crumbly” comes to mind.
Diets dont work. Most are nearly impossible to adhere to, and, like the parachute pant, every new craze eventually fades out. (Thank all things Holy Olean did)
Your “diet” is technically the typical foods you eat regularly, not the avoidance of particular foods for short term weight loss.
The silver lining is: You don’t need a fad-diet. All you need is a little effort and a load of knowledge. You need lifestyle changes. Tips, tricks and tools you can use slash calories, stay full, melt fat and out wit cravings. And you’ll feel better. You’ll actually transform in to something better.
If diets did work, you wouldnt be doughy and reading this blog. You’d be too busy perfecting your “pouty” on a photo shoot arranged by your modeling agent. (But you’d still be a vacuole of dolor shelled in superficial beauty)

Everyone is different. Some of us can’t live without cheese, others couldn’t go on without bread. For me, a life without desserts is not worth living. Thus, the best approach to weight managment is identifying each individuals dietary obstacles.
We all have different likes, dislikes, tastes, eating habits, body types, activity levels, medical conditions, genetic predispositions, emotional maturity, resources and knowledge about food and its effect on our bodies.
As a nation, we are obsessed, with losing weight. Yet we continue to flock to poor quality all-you-can-eat buffets. We eagerly part with another 25 cents for an even larger bathtub-sized cola or the “gotta have it” ice cream basin. We continue to congregate over food. We honor EVERY SINGLE PERSON’S DAY OF BIRTH, every holiday, every super bowl, every ball game for that matter (college and professional) with over-indulgence and a super-size of gluttony. We are over-fed and under-nourished
Most of us have tried numerous diets, pills, fads, and restictions. And if you are reading this, they have likely failed. We are hopeful, desparate even, to discover the secret to weight loss. Unfortnately, as with most things, there is no quick fix. But with a little knowledge and a few rules we’ll discuss in this blog, you can get on track to permanent, prolonged weight loss–and will likely become a happier human being in the process. It will take some effort on your part. But you are stronger than you think! Your are capable of being the best version of yourself! Use these tips, grocery lists, and recipes to eat your way to a thinner more satisfied you! Weight loss will be an after thought, you wont even know its happening, because the primary benefit will be a cleaner, healthier you–without giving up taste or the joy and celebration of food!
